I tried to get my friends interested when it first game out but they just got really frustrated with the lack of guidance the game gives you on how to play. I haven't tried the new patch yet; I guess there's a Christmas content update for it now, too?

It's a really cool game and I would definitely recommend it, it's just that my friends didn't want to deal with the learning curve. One of the big draws for me was the multiplayer, but I kinda gave up after my friends did, because I don't like playing with strangers very much (people spamming chat with racist and homophobic stuff, using hacks, stuff like that.) So if anyone is interested in a nice FRIENDLY game of Terraria, let me know Smile
